Khadija is a cosy room made for two, and for travelling slowly. At its heart is a generous king-size bed, wrapped in calm space and soft island light. This is where your Nungwi days begin unhurried and end close together, whether you’re here for a honeymoon, an anniversary, or simply time with the person you love. Karibu, you’re home.

Every detail in Khadija is proudly Swahili. Natural building materials, handcrafted finishes and warm earthy tones tell the story of Zanzibar’s coastal heritage, the same craftsmanship you’ll see in Stone Town’s carved doors and old coral-stone walls. It’s beautiful, but it’s also made for real comfort: cool air, a good shower, fast Wi-Fi and a bed you won’t want to leave.
Khadija is designed for travellers who want character without giving up comfort. Plush bedding, thoughtful furnishings and quiet corners make it easy to rest well between days of Nungwi beaches, sunset dhow trips and Swahili food.
Khadija comes with its own private en suite bathroom, so everything you need is just a few steps from the bed. Start the morning with a refreshing shower in the walk-in shower cabin, or rinse off the salt and sand after a long day on Nungwi’s beaches. Finished with the same Swahili character as the room, with natural textures, warm tones and simple island elegance, it’s a calm, clean space that’s yours alone. Fresh towels and thoughtful touches are ready when you arrive, so you can settle in and feel at home.
